Our policies

What to expect before you book, in plain words.

Booking and deposits

Book online at any hour, or call during the week. A first visit takes a deposit that holds your time and goes toward your visit. We confirm by email or text, whichever you choose.

Canceling and running late

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit. Arriving late may shorten your facial, because the time after yours is held for someone else.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a visit without telling us, a first visit's deposit is kept. We're glad to rebook you and will ask for a deposit again.

Children and companions

Ceramide sees adults and teens. A client under 18 comes with a parent or guardian, who signs the booking and stays for the skin analysis. Treatment rooms are private and small, so a companion waits in the lobby.

Patch tests and allergies

We try a new product on a small area first and wait before using it on your whole face. Tell us about sensitivities and allergies on the booking page. Reactions can happen with any skin product; if one does, tell us and we'll change the plan.

If you're not happy

If a visit didn't go the way you expected, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right together. Your esthetician adjusts the plan at your next visit.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay, or on the booking page afterward.

Before your visit

At booking we tell you what to pause, such as products that exfoliate, and what to bring. Come with your face as it is, with or without product. The booking page's intake form asks the rest.

When to ask your doctor first

If you are pregnant or might be, use a prescription skin medicine or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask your doctor before booking a peel or LED light. Tell us at booking so we can plan the visit around it. We may suggest a dermatologist ourselves.

Book a skin analysis

Choose a time on the booking page, or send a message and we'll reply by email or text.
